About Veya Restaurant
Veya Restaurant is one of the most celebrated dining destinations in Anguilla and the Caribbean, open since 2007. Set in a magical treehouse on the second floor above Sandy Ground, the restaurant features an intimate covered wrap-around porch overlooking a lush garden with a koi pond and Sandy Ground bay. The Meze cocktail lounge downstairs is Moroccan-themed with live music every open night from 8pm to 10pm. Chef Carrie's Cuisine of the Sun menu is a fusion of the Caribbean, India, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Signature dishes include Moroccan spiced shrimp cigars with spicy papaya jam, Vietnamese style crispy calamari with nuoc cham, grilled local lobster with passionfruit mustard sauce, rack of lamb with tzatziki and truffled asparagus, vanilla-cured duck breast, tamarind-glazed roast chicken, flatiron steak, and hazelnut mousse bars.
