Palm Grove Bar and Grill, widely known as Nat's Place or Nat's Palm Grove, is one of Anguilla's most iconic and beloved dining destinations, set alone on the unspoiled sands of Savannah Bay at Junk's Hole on the island's East End. Getting there is half the adventure -- a 1.5-mile rough dirt road leads to a colorfully painted open-air beach shack overlooking pristine turquoise water with no other buildings in sight. Owner Nat Richardson and his family have been grilling fresh Caribbean BBQ and seafood here for decades. The menu features fresh crayfish ($55), lobster ($50), shrimp ($30), fillet fish ($25), whole fish ($30), BBQ chicken leg ($14), wings ($16), and BBQ ribs ($18), plus combos including the famous Lobster and Crayfish at $60. Mains and combos are served with 2 sides. Sandwiches are served on Johnny cake buns with fries and coleslaw. The famous Johnny cakes are widely considered the best in all of Anguilla. Sides include fries, rice and peas, salad, coleslaw, and Johnny cakes. Lunch daily 11am to 4pm, walk-ins welcome. Dinner by reservation only -- call 264-497-4224 or 264-235-4224.
