Blanchards Beach Shack is one of the most beloved casual restaurants on Anguilla, set directly on the sands of Meads Bay next door to the acclaimed Blanchards Restaurant. Founded by Bob and Chef Melinda Blanchard in December 2011, the Beach Shack has become a Meads Bay institution for locals and visitors alike. The menu is extensive: Signature Fried Chicken in 2pc, 4pc, 8pc, and 16pc bucket, street tacos with homemade corn tortillas (fish, shrimp, or plant-based), the M.B.L.T. with blackened mahi, Big Bowls of rice and black beans, Blackened Mahi Bites, a full salad menu including kale, Caesar, curried chicken, and warm crispy goat cheese, wraps, soups, sandwiches, burgers including the Blanchards Burger and a Plant-Based Burger, and kid-friendly options. Desserts include coconut cheesecake, hot fudge sundae, milkshakes, fudgy brownie, chocolate chip cookies, and ice cream by the scoop. The bar serves rum punch (glass or pitcher), frose, sangria, frozen daiquiris, and fruit smoothies. Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday 4-6pm. Beach chairs and umbrella rental $5 per day. Rewards Program available. Eco-friendly packaging throughout. Locally grown organic produce used whenever possible.
