Advertising Terms

Effective September 27, 2026. The rules for advertising on Anguilla Ferry Times: billing, cancellations, ad spots, content and reporting.

1. Who these terms apply to

These Advertising Terms apply to any business (“you”) that buys an advertising plan on Anguilla Ferry Times (“we”, “us”) through the Partner Dashboard or through our team. By ticking “I agree” at checkout, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for your business.

2. Plans, billing and renewals

  • Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, to the card saved on your account.
  • Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of an existing plan.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we’ll retry it and let you know. Ads may be paused until payment succeeds.

3. Cancelling and refunds

  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your ads keep running until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
  • Payments are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where required by law or where we’re unable to deliver your ads for reasons within our control.

4. Changing plans

  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period.
  • Downgrades take effect immediately and any unused amount is credited against your future invoices.
  • Promo codes apply to the plan they were redeemed on. Changing plans ends the promotion.

5. Ad placement and ad spots

  • Each ad spot shows one ad at a time. When more than one advertiser wants the same spot, the advertiser on the higher plan is shown first.
  • On plans that let you choose spots, we’ll place your ads in the spots you pick where possible. If a page or spot changes or is removed, we’ll move your ad to a comparable spot.
  • Previews of ad positions are illustrations. Exact size, layout and position vary by page and device.
  • We don’t guarantee a number of impressions, clicks or bookings.

6. Ad content rules

Your ads, and the pages they link to, must:

  • be accurate and not misleading about prices, availability or what you offer;
  • comply with the laws of Anguilla and anywhere else they’re shown;
  • use only logos, images and text you have the right to use;
  • link to a working website or booking page you control.

We don’t accept ads for adult content, weapons, illegal drugs, gambling, hate or discrimination, or anything we reasonably consider unsafe or offensive for a travel audience.

7. Our review and right to remove ads

  • We review ads before they go live and may ask for changes.
  • We may decline, pause or remove any ad that breaks these terms, without a refund.
  • We may briefly pause ads for maintenance, site changes or technical issues. If an ad is down for more than 7 days in a row for reasons within our control, contact us and we’ll extend your plan or credit you for that time.

8. Performance reporting

Dashboard figures (impressions, clicks and click-through rate) come from our own tracking, exclude traffic we identify as automated, and may differ slightly from your own analytics. They’re provided for guidance.

9. Your account

Keep your login secure and only invite people you trust to your dashboard. You’re responsible for actions taken by people on your team, including plan changes and payments.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to advertising is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected billing period. We’re not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you by email or in your dashboard at least 30 days before it applies to your plan.
